Zoe is Three!

A couple days ago my baby turned three years old. She reminds me daily that she isn't a baby anymore and that she's a big girl now. My pregnancy hormones are having a hard time dealing with my little baby being a big girl. She has been so blessed over the past year and has been very blessed just from this birthday. Zoe had a big party with family, friends and our new church friends.

We invited all of the church families with kids around her age and some other folks to her birthday. We held her party in the school gym because we had a lot of people. Besides, what is better than just playing with a bunch of kids in a gym with some basketballs and dodge balls when you're three? Almost nothing. Zoe had a blast! She was so excited to play with new friends and to have cake. She was also very enthusiastic about the presents - we had to tell her several times that she needed to wait for a while to open them.

She's ready and excited!

She was very blessed by so many people who came to help celebrate her day and completely spoil her.

Now, I have never been more exhausted by a birthday party in my life and this party wasn't even that elaborate. It did however have 24 children in attendance. By the end, I'm pretty sure my entire body hurt. Inviting tons of kids to your three year old's birthday party at 34 weeks pregnant may not have been the best life choice I have ever made but Zoe really had a good time and I really enjoyed getting to know everyone better.

So here is the three-year-old update:

We had to visit Texas!

These last three years have blessed us so much! We couldn't have imagined how awesome our little baby would be when she was born. She was really cute then and she has surpassed being simply cute by adding being so loving, articulate, silly, sweet and fun. We love her so much! She is going to be an awesome big sister here in a couple of weeks.

How did this little baby get so big?

That's all for now. God is good!
